Handled began with two Ottawa brothers, Jack and Max.
What started as a neighbourhood lawn care business naturally grew into something more as customers they had come to know and trust began asking if they could return to help with other everyday jobs around the home.
Carrying storage bins downstairs. Setting up patio furniture. Tidying the garage. Assembling furniture. None of it needs a contractor. It's simply the kind of work that keeps waiting for someone to be there to help.
They realized there wasn't really a service for the everyday tasks that fall somewhere between hiring a handyman and relying on family.
That's why they created Handled.
The everyday help that falls between doing it yourself and calling a contractor.
Meet the Brothers
Jack
Jack is studying Business Administration at Algonquin College while working part-time with the City of Ottawa. He believes reliability, clear communication, and treating every home with respect are just as important as getting the job done well.
Max
Max is a high school student who spends his summers working at local golf courses and his winters refereeing hockey. He enjoys helping people, works hard, and takes pride in being dependable, respectful, and willing to lend a hand wherever it's needed.
